Trust in digital media requires complete transparency. At DigitalTreasure, we do not expect readers to take our accuracy for granted; we aim to prove it through our reporting standards.

This policy outlines exactly how our editorial desk works, how we verify information, and what happens when we get something wrong.

Sourcing & Fact-Checking

We do not treat internet rumours as news. Every article published on DigitalTreasure is reviewed by our senior editorial desk before it goes live.

When reporting on public figures, business decisions, or breaking news, we rely on official statements, verified public records, and credible primary sources. For any contested, sensitive, or high-stakes factual claim, we enforce a strict two-source rule, meaning we cross-check the information across at least two independent sources before treating it as confirmed fact.

If something is a public allegation or an unverified claim, we label it exactly as that. We never present speculation as the truth.

Editorial Independence

DigitalTreasure operates with complete editorial independence. Advertisers, PR agencies, and commercial sponsors have absolutely no influence over our coverage, our topic selection, or the angles we pursue.

We do not accept payment, gifts, or outside favours in exchange for positive press or manipulated coverage. There is a hard wall between any commercial advertising on our site and the decisions made by our editorial team. Our only obligation is to the facts and to our readers.

Corrections & Updates

Our goal is to be entirely accurate, but when mistakes happen, our response is fast and transparent. We do not silently rewrite history.

If we publish a factual error, we will update the article and add a clear, dated “Correction” or “Update” note, usually at the top or bottom of the text, explaining exactly what was wrong and what has been fixed.
